Just so everyone knows, the Homecoming football game is on October 17th, Friday, at 7:00 pm.  Get there early to get a seat in the 'new' bleachers.  Alumni are always welcome (and recognized) - they make the alumni stand up.  I did this and one time I had a student say "Mrs. Allen! What are YOU doing????"  :-)

Come and join the festivities - bring the kids!!!

Okay, I'm guilty of this myself...but really, we need to start using the Message Board for the reunion talk, you know. Yes, Heather is STILL organizing the reunion, even after the fact. But we love her for it, don't we? So...let's keep the Guestbook for "guests". None of us are "guests" anymore! Kisses, Dana

Ok, what just happened??? J

Trombley you did miss quite the event, you better make the next one!  Kudos to all who worked so hard to put it together and to everyone who showed up, it was really a blast.  It was so great to see faces from the past, Lynch my wife is still laughing you crazy SOB!  Heather (my wife) and I really enjoyed catching up with so many of you.  Our only regret of the evening is that we didn't get a chance to speak with everyone!  It was so amazing to hear everyone's individual story of how they met their spouse or what career path they chose and why.  You are truly some amazing and inspirational people. I was sorry that I missed the tour, unfortunately my family had a last minute scheduling change for a family get together and since I am rarely in town I thought I should probably go to that, however, I hear the tour was much more fun.

I do however feel a bit bad on one note though, I am sorry that we did not get a chance to clarify once and for all the truth’s about the “legend” that is Matt Valice.  So many of you were asking what was and wasn’t true and it became apparent as the evening went on that, a lot of the things that were true, a lot of folks didn’t believe for instance Kelly Pijanowski (Grevemeyer), Stacey Wright (Verkeyn), Heather Locke (Schreiber) and many others, hell even I started to second guess what was fact and fiction.  But when Matt called me the next morning after the tour and said folks still didn’t believe him about what he was doing, I felt awful! (Well not really, I just kind of said that for dramatic effect) I actually I do feel a little bad since he has worked so hard and we kind of high jacked his life for our own amusement.  So I feel compelled I have set the record straight.  If you will check out my bio I will answer all the questions and truthfully I promise!

Really looking forward to the next one and thanks again to all who made it happen.

God Bless,

Hello everyone,

Rumor has it there was quite a bash on Friday night at Mac & Ray's!  Outstanding!!  I am glad that it was a huge success and I cannot wait to see some of the pictures from that evening.  I heard the nametags were awesome too!!  Great job to whoever put those together!  Sounds like everyone partied with typical LCHS style (as usual, Liane was hungover the next morning!), and as far as I know no arrests were made.  Lancers were always one step ahead of the law (most of the time)!

Again, I regret not being a part of it all but was happy to hear how much fun you guys had.
Hey Heather, when can I buy my ticket for the 25th??

God Bless all of you and take care!

Regards,
Scott

First I would also like to thank all of you who put this together. I can tell this was a group effort and the little touches (the CD, the class picture name tags just to name a few) were also appreciated. This website proved to be a great tool for conversation starters. I'm sure all of you worked very hard locating classmates and those that didn't choose to go really missed out on a wonderful evening. To all the fellow classmates that attended..EVERYONE looks wonderful. There was an incredible happy 'vibe' in that restaurant and all the smiles I saw/shared were just great! Ok ok ok, the open bar helped, but I was all smiles from the moment I walked in. I loved re-connecting with classmates that I knew in school as well as talking and sharing life stories with people I didn't know so well back in high school. Going back to the LCHS for the tour was also a great idea. There have been quite a few changes, but still some VERY familiar areas that brought me right back to '84-88. Mr. Mulcahy was our tour guide and I'm positive that his booming voice brought back a few memories for a few students. Many of us had a laugh about being caught for one offense or another. I loved seeing everyone's children. Ok, I've gone on enough. But I will leave everyone one last thought. Remember yesterday, Dream of tomorrow, Live today.

I also had a "perma-grin"...but it has now faded to tears...because it's OVER! The anticipation had been almost as much fun for me as the experience was! Not to sound like a gushing "cheerleader", but it was BETTER than I expected it would be! Awesome night, and we all owe Heather a BIG thank you for getting the ball rolling in the first place! And by the way, I haven't stopped listening to that CD (party favor) she made for everyone. Great choices, Heather! EVERYONE worked so hard to make it a special night, and special it WAS! And the rest of the committee, too of course...Stacey, Jami, Liane, Lisa, Kristin, Ray and Jennifer...you guys are awesome! And thanks to Jenny (Wright) and Kelli (Vida) from the class of '90, for helping check everyone in! Hope you two had a chance to enjoy yourselves! Not to mention all of you who actually SHOWED UP! Couldn't have happened without all of YOU! I just realized I'm ending every sentance here with an exclamation point, and I NEVER do that! So I must be happy! Anyway, thanks to ALL, and let's start posting our memories of the night on the message boards, okay? We've got this thing for another 5 years; let's start using it! And the rest of you who couldn't make it; your presence was certainly missed, and you better expect to attend the 25th, because it WILL HAPPEN! On a personal note, I've had one hellish year, certainly the hardest I've had in my life, and I wish to warmly thank all of you for one fantastic evening. And thanks also for your presence in my life, however big or small. It meant a lot to me to be able to come out of my self-imposed isolation from you all, and I ain't going away now. Keep in touch, please!

Love,
Dana

Hi everyone. I just want to say I hope you guys all had a great time at the reunion. I was thinking and wishing I could be there the whole time.  I was extremely excited to see those today at the school which has changed so much.  Amazing it seems like yesterday!!  Everyone looks so wonderful and it was great to catch up with my forever friends.  Lots of memories there and I can't wait til the 25th. I will be there hell or highwaters. You all look great and I hope health stays with us all until next one. Hugs to all.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making last night so memorable and enjoyable.  I agree with Liane - I cannot erase the perma-grin that I have on my face.  It was so great to see familiar faces, talk about the 'old' days, and reconnect with everyone.  Also, seeing everyone this morning at the tour with their families - ah, so awesome!!!!  Made the building seem less as a job site to me.

I'm proud to be associated with L'Anse Creuse High School and such a great group of people.  Do we really have to wait 5 more years to do this again?????

I'm in the HTP, so call, email, stop over!

Again - thanks for such a wonderful night!!!

Recovery.....going....slower.....than......anticipated today.  My head is killing me, I'm icing my feet from my damn shoes, and I can't seem to get the perma-grin off my face, but boy, was it worth it. Now if I could only figure out who overserved me!  Seriously, I feel so lucky and privileged to know such a great group from high school -- especially everyone who attended last night's soiree. I hope you enjoyed the night as much as my husband and I did. Can't wait for the 25th. I wish all of you peace, prosperity, health and happiness until we meet again!  Warmest regards, Liane Bilicki

Hey, has everyone checked out the "who's coming" list lately? Looks like a fantastic mix of folks, I can't wait! But I'm sure some names are missing still? C'mon people, RSVP already!

Hello! I've spent the last few days scanning and uploading almost a hundred pictures from my ancient photo albums onto this website. Many of them are NEVER BEFORE SEEN, as they are from the yearbook staff's unused stash of photos. I was one of the co-editors of the yearbook our senior year, along with Beth Hoffman and Lisa Rager, and we had access to the unused photos from all four of our High School years. And yes, I have kept them all this time...

The rest are from my own personal camera. Please know that I didn't post so many of those to be SELF-INDULGENT...but rather as a fun way to say "hi" and perhaps inspire more of you to do the same thing. So...GO NOW, get out those old photo albums, and start scanning! I surely wasn't the only one to have walked around with a camera all the time back then. And really, isn't this EXACTLY what we saved all of this old crap for, anyway?

Y'all are just lucky Heather didn't create a "Middle School" album to upload to...now THAT would be funny. I still have those pictures too.

See you in August, I hope!

Love, Dana

It really, really doesn't seem like 20 years...I still feel like maybe 30 not quite 20.  40 is creeping up fast. The years have been kind and cruel.  My stepdad died when my stepbrother was only 14.  My father unfortunately is in a nursing home,  My uncle died suddenly at 50.  But on the bright side, my brother is getting married this August to a kind, wonderful woman who teaches.  My best friend is getting married in May. My hard work paid off; earned my Associate's Degree from MCC. Currently working on my Bachelor's.  I work in Materials in a manufacturing co. and finally bought my own home in 2005.  I'm still pretty healthy not fat and not married to Mrs Clairol yet either.  I still look like 28!  I have a cool boyfriend, and two small adorable dogs.  I was reading unfortunately the In Memory Of Section but did not see a name.  I am almost positive (hopefully wrong) that I read an article a couple years ago that Pat Lupo had passed away.  Does anyone know for sure?  I couldn't remember for sure if he went to our school or L'anse Creuse North.  Well, I'm glad overall everyone else sounds like they're doing pretty good.  Take care all.

20 years .... and yet I still mentally feel (and sometimes act) like a kid!!! Played "tippy cup" just last week with the neighbors. A lot has changed. I now have even less hair then 10 years ago. :):) My parents still live in the area and it always feels odd going back to the old stomping grounds. Part of me belongs yet part of me doesn't.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season!

Thanks to all who have posted messages and added their contact info!  I think everyone has enjoyed reading the updates and browsing through the pictures...keep them coming and be sure to check out the photo albums.

If you have not already done so, please take a few minutes to add your info (you can edit or add pictures at a later date) or at least post a note in the Guest Book.  Also, be sure to forward the website to others from our class.

We will be working hard over the next few months to try and locate alumni (see the "Looking For" list) and the more people that provide their info the less time we have to spend tracking folks down.  All of us are short on time and your help with this is greatly appreciated.

If you do not want to be contacted, please let us know and we will remove your name.

Have a safe and happy New Year!!
