City: High Point
State/Prov.: NC Occupation: VP Operations-Daimler Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Jeff and Jennifer (McCarron): Jen and I both graduated from MSU in 1992 and stayed in the Metro Detroit area doing the automotive-corporate thing for about 6 years. SE Michigan started to become old to us so we took an opportunity with work to move to Curitiba Brazil. After 2.5 years in a foreign country we were anxious to come home and start a family. So "home" it was--back to Harrison Township where we moved a half of mile away from my parents. During our time at "home" we started a family; 2 (wonderful but VERY wide open) boys now 7 and 4 (Jacob and Justin). After 5 years of Harrison Township we once again became antsy for something new, so we moved to High Point, North Carolina where we enjoy the warmth and sunshine. |

State/Prov.: MI Occupation: French Teacher at LCHS Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Jennifer: (Thanks for the pic, Dana!!!) Hey all ~ I'm pretty excited about our upcoming reunion. Sometimes, it feels like I never left - wait, I didn't! :-) I got my bachelors at Oakland University, was an exchange student at the Université d'Orléans, France from 1990-1991, and got my Master's Degree from OU in 2000. I am currently on year number 14 of teaching French at LCHS. I took over Mrs. Kindell's spot when she retired in 1994. The high school has changed so much - you'd be amazed at all of the new additions. There are very few of the "old" teachers still there. Most of the teachers that we had have since retired. I am actually one of the seniors now. It's a great job and I love being a Lancer! I also coach JV Cheerleading - year number 11 for that. I love staying active in the school and interacting with the kids. Speaking of kids, my husband of 10 years, Eric (Class of '89), and I have 2 wonderful, amazing daughters. Kaitlyn is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. Our 'baby', Julia, is 5 and in full-day kindergarten. They are the lights of my life! Looking forward to hearing from everyone! |

City: Las Vegas
State/Prov.: Nv Occupation: Manager/Design Engineer Marital Status: Committed Relationship From Robert: Wow 20 years!!! Who thought we'd all make it this far!!! Not me!! Well for the last 2 years I've been living and working in Las Vegas, working for Lowe's as a Manager and working part time at home designing staging and rigging for a machine shop in town. We do work for the large casino shows here, Plus some rigging for movies and TV shows. Made the move to the Southwest due to the lay-offs back home. And had fell on hard times after 9/11, while working for an Aerospace Manufacture in Macomb twp. Had about 11 years in working as an Engineer but after 9/11 we lost 47% of our work load and things never picked up. In 2002, Tried the self employment thing with my cuz'n Rich. We started a 3rd party Inspection company but, made 1 big mistake!! We hired Family. After that a friend helped me out for a few months while I made the transition to Las Vegas. It's not fun starting all over at 35. But, after 2 years here, I'm doing well again. And if things continue as they have been I'll be looking forward to making a trip back home for the 20th. Wish everyone the Best, Rob |

City: Troy
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Teacher Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Mike : Hi, everyone! I'm looking forward to seeing you at the reunion in August. Here's my story. I studied at Adrian College, where I met my wife, Tracy. I majored in German and studied overseas in Vienna, Austria, where I was able to visit Erika Trotzmuller. While I was in grad school I took a year off to study in Northern Germany. Since then I have taught German in Vermont, Rochester Hills and South Lyon, Michigan. While I was teaching middle school in South Lyon, I heard that Ron Lelko, our German teacher at LCHS was retiring in 2004. Amazingly, I interviewed and got the job. So, I am back where we all started, teaching high school German. I have two children, Emily, 2, and Tim, 7. |

State/Prov.: Michigan Occupation: Regional Communications Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 From Liane: 20 years, eh? Seems implausible. After high school, graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in journalism and public relations. Worked for Ford, Visteon, Daimler AG and in tandem with corporate life, turned into a total bookworm (I know, may be difficult for some of you to believe!) as I worked hard to gather a few degrees.....have a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Organizational Communication and PR....now working my way toward a PhD in Communication Studies and Statistics. Met my best friend and love of my life -- Jerry -- in 1998 and we married in 2002. We have a beautiful four-year-old named Katie who keeps us hopping. Life's been good. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the 20th! |

City: New Baltimore
State/Prov.: MI Occupation: Nuclear Medicine Technolgist Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Michelle : In the twenty years since I've graduated from good ole LCHS I've pretty much done what most people have done... I don't have any 'fantastic' stories, just a normal life. I'm still local (in New Baltimore now). After H.S. I started college and graduated from Oakland University and I currently work in Nuclear Medicine as a technologist.Right now work in private practice, but for the last 7 or so years I was employed by Mt. Clemens General Hospital (now McLaren Health). Every once and a while I would see some classmates (or teachers) from the old days. I married a wonderful man in 1994 and we are raising our two children (ages 8 and 5) with hopes of sending them out into this crazy world and not go insane. Other that the normal day to day things, I love to read and sew. Every summer I work at the Michigan Renaissance festival at one of the booths to rationalize my hobby of making costumes. Nothing like being in a full Elizabethan costume in Michigan summer heat. I've enjoyed reading about how everyone else is doing, but I'm saddened by our list of "in memory of". If anything, one sure appreciates life for how special it is. I'm not sure I will be attending the reunion, but I can say that MacRay's is a beautiful restaurant (it happens to be where my wedding reception was held). Sometimes I dress and talk like a pirate.. Yarr! |
